Do we need to worry about customs or do they handle themselves?
Officially AliExpress is not shopping to India but you can bypass AliExpress platform & directly communicate with the seller. The seller will ask for payment via PayPal. It's risky try at your own risks. I have imported several small value item this way no custom were charged & the seller was genuine.

What shipping method are they using? Are packets trackable?
