They are offering 1 year 300mbps plan which includes router/installation/security/plan for 6k
Online reviews are very negative and last year too i had very bad experience with them, that time they shut down their services in my near by area , now they relaunched with fiber.
The boy (pamplet distributing boy) told that they have taken airtel fiber hence their services are awesome this time.
So looking for dimer's real reviews.
Long post just to help you out.
First check feedback from local neighbours who’re using it.
Not true for Airtel 100 vs Excitel 300mbps. I always get true speeds on Excitel. I’m using it from 3 years. Average of 2-4 complaints in an year, the response time in lockdown was 1day, now it’s super fast.
Like when I raise an issue, get call within 10mins and if it’s not restored remotely, they send agents at my place in 30-1hr and resolve it.
Example: my router was 2-3 years old, had no issue but complaint to cc that router is broken in Jan 2023, took them >1 hr to bring new router at my place and pickup the old one. No questions asked.
Another example: 🐀 cut my Fibre wire ( cost ₹300), raised issue around 6pm, rec’d call in 5 mins and tried to restore remotely, didnt work. The cc guy told assigned local cable to visit, I thought it’s late now the net will be restored tomorrow, around 6.30 eng came at my place with Fibre wire and huge machine and fixed in 10mins.
Now imagine the experience.
However, I can’t recommend based on my experience, see Excitel is dependent on local cable network and if these peoples are arrogant and lazy, you’ll get bad experience. If these local cable guys are good, trust me you can go blindly.
Don’t trust online reviews as these are from cable internet times when Excitel was very very bad. With the Fibre technology they’re performing as good as other ISP’s and with cheap plans they are outperforming Airtel/Jio.
Payment: I use credit card and pay directly via the Excitel app. No cashback offers as they are not listed on Amazon/Paytm etc if that’s what you wanted to check.
My summary: go for it if local network guys are good otherwise look for another options.
