Also, a delhi guy told me that airtel 100 and excitel 300 mbps are same, is it true, have you experienced actual 400 mbps or it is just a gimmick?

I mean how is your overall experience, are you satisfied?

Lastly, how do you pay your bills?

Long post just to help you out.

First check feedback from local neighbours who’re using it.

Not true for Airtel 100 vs Excitel 300mbps. I always get true speeds on Excitel. I’m using it from 3 years. Average of 2-4 complaints in an year, the response time in lockdown was 1day, now it’s super fast.

Like when I raise an issue, get call within 10mins and if it’s not restored remotely, they send agents at my place in 30-1hr and resolve it.

Example: my router was 2-3 years old, had no issue but complaint to cc that router is broken in Jan 2023, took them >1 hr to bring new router at my place and pickup the old one. No questions asked.

Another example: 🐀 cut my Fibre wire ( cost ₹300), raised issue around 6pm, rec’d call in 5 mins and tried to restore remotely, didnt work. The cc guy told assigned local cable to visit, I thought it’s late now the net will be restored tomorrow, around 6.30 eng came at my place with Fibre wire and huge machine and fixed in 10mins.

Now imagine the experience.

However, I can’t recommend based on my experience, see Excitel is dependent on local cable network and if these peoples are arrogant and lazy, you’ll get bad experience. If these local cable guys are good, trust me you can go blindly.

Don’t trust online reviews as these are from cable internet times when Excitel was very very bad. With the Fibre technology they’re performing as good as other ISP’s and with cheap plans they are outperforming Airtel/Jio.

Payment: I use credit card and pay directly via the Excitel app. No cashback offers as they are not listed on Amazon/Paytm etc if that’s what you wanted to check.

My summary: go for it if local network guys are good otherwise look for another options.

They are offering 1 year  300mbps plan which includes router/installation/security/plan for 6k

Online reviews are very negative and last year too i had very bad experience with them, that time they shut down their services in my near by area , now they relaunched with fiber.

The boy (pamplet distributing boy) told that they have taken airtel fiber hence their services are awesome this time.

So looking for dimer's real reviews.

Never go for 1 year plan. First check for few months and get knowledge of their service in your area. Bought 1 year here in Bengaluru (as no airtel/jio currently in my area) now regretting with this excitel.

Plan is 300 Mbps, for whole day speed is 270-300 Mbps on wifi 5ghz. After 7 o'clock speed is very inconsistent. For some days it gets reduced to 200, sometimes 150, and some days 50-70 and with 4-6 devices connected it cries on every device. It buffers a lot Mostly watching TV from streaming apps.

Service quality: local office will not solve any issue after installing. They say raise the complaint on the app and then they will take care. App will give automated reply will be fixed in 4 hours. If you chat or call customer care. They ask you to connect LAN cable and give them access via TeamViewer. Then sure shot they do some troubleshooting from their side and you start getting speed. After 10-15 minutes speed gets to be same inconsistent 70-200 varied.

I am now fed up complaining.
Not going again with excitel and their lucrative trap offer after this is over.
Moreover you have to recharge only through their website so no offers. I feel better to go with the provider which is listed on major Bill payment sites and recharge monthly with offers.

Ps: This is my experience in my area. It may vary area to area in same city as well as state.

plan (200 mbps)
- how is the speed - as promised
- how much downtime it has - once or twice but it will depend mostly on ur LCO
- how is the service , cc and response /rectification time - average , they take 4 hours to fix issues
- what price you are paying - paid 5k for an year , which costs me 416rs per month
- your city/location  - Delhi NCR

remember one thing , before taking this connection do check with ur near ones who r u using it bcoz excitel is very very bad at some places bcoz LCO do not take interest in cx issues after giving connection so do check it

my experience in past 3 month is average bcoz of downtime , they give fake promises but at according to price it is paisa wasool

Even live tv/4k requires 20mbps , if at 60-70 speed the app is buffering than this is serious.

Thanks buddy for the review plus1

Airtel 100 Mbps and Excitel 300Mbps are same:

The Guy probably talking about the Contention Ratio. This is very important parameter in Broadband.

i.e. There are 10 Connections of 100 Mbps in area, then provider ideally need to have 1000Mbps/1Gbps line to distribute the bandwidth.
But, instead they may have 500Mbps/700Mbps/etc. line for all these 10 connections.

Mostly cheap broadband providers have higher ratios. You might have heard/experienced that local/cheap broadband works very good for some area and for some areas it's worst, mostly because of this.

If all are heavy users in an area, they will suffer. 😉

Dont use any assumption just try excitel. You will get real speed. Airtel and Jio are far behind. I am messaging from excitel internet which I am using from 3 years.

How typical users use net in your area also matters a lot. For example, in my locality I am pretty sure I alone am responsible for around 60-70% of entire traffic in a month. smile

Users are less for sure in my area as they are newly(around 1 year) launched(relaunched) in my area.

Its good till it works in case of failure you are at the mercy of the LCO as all depends on him. Has abrupt downtimes and in case you face a non common issue then good luck getting it resolved for months.

For netflix, YT etc and normal browsing would be good but gaming or international access is kind of trash.

Don't go with Excitel. They won’t resolve issues. They do not provide refund of security. Chasing them since 1 month
