Hi,

Is there any directly or indirect way to buy mutual fund schemes via credit cards?

Most of the sites give only option Debit card, UPI and net banking.

It will help most of us if we can use our credit card to invest and as well as earn reward point and show better credit card usage without shopping.

No you cannot invest in MF using credit card. You may however invest in NPS using credit card.

Yes. But we do have CC which gives reward/benefit of more than 1.5% so people use that for NPS. Many cards have spend based benefits, using CC on NPS helps to achieve those targets

Just be mindful that card companies have blocked cards for doing huge transactions(manufacturing spends) via NPS.

Or get a CC that offers rewards more than 1%+gst on such transactions.

HDFC Millennia debit gives 2.5% or 1% on NPS?

Zero I think.

https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/mil...

No CashBack points for transactions on Fuel, Jewellery & Business Services including Credit Card Payment, Insurance Premium Payment & other Business Services

NPS is usually considered as “Business Service”.

If that’s the case how does DCB give points?
