after entering my mobile number linked with icici cc, in aPay application and otp
i am again asked to enter all details like name pan address.
some one said existing ICICI cc holders get instant approval.
can someone elaborate the process flow please.

Same happened with me. I have new ICICI rubyx card, 1st bill will generate on 11 dec. Lets see if i can apply after bill.

That’s not necessarily true for all users. It works for some and doesn’t work for some.
I have been a ICICI privilege customer from last 15 years but never owned a ICICI credit card. When I applied last Dec, I got instant approval. Got card details within minutes. My brother is also a ICICI privilege customer from last 10 year and also has a ICICI credit card from last 7-8 years and he also got instant approval.
But some of my friends didn’t get approved even though they had ICICI credit card for years. A couple of them got rejected and some had to go through the whole process.
My understanding is that ICICI has some internal ranking or points system for their customers like CIBIL. They rank customers based on their relationship with bank and their past transactions. If you have good ranking/points in their system then they will allow you more services without having to go through the normal process. That’s what I think.

I only entered my ICICI linked mobile number..which was verified… instantly got approval and credit card generated
Cc is not of much help. Your existing icici cc must be min 3 month’s old to get apay card
I had an ICICI cc when I applied for APay ICICI Card. My card got generated in less than a minute after entering the OTP. I was not asked any other detail
