Apple Watch Series 9: The device will be powered by a new S9 chip, which the company says is its ‘most powerful’ Watch chip till date.

The product, introduced by Apple COO Jeff Williams, will be available starting next month, the company said.

Features

(1.) Watch Series 9 is powered by the new S9 chip, which, the company claims, is the ‘most powerful’ Apple Watch till date. The smartwatch's GPU (graphics processing unit) is 30% faster, while battery life remains ‘unchanged.’

(2.) The S9 chip carries as many as 5.6 billion transistors, along with a new four-core neural engine. This, in turn, provides all-day, 18-hour battery life.

(3.) To make responsiveness faster for several tasks, the tech giant has enabled Siri requests for Watch Series 9 on the smartwatch itself. Also, a new feature allows Siri to access health data; this feature will arrive later this year, starting in English and Mandarin.

(4.) The device has a brightness of 2000 nits; for dark environments, this brightness can be reduced to 1 nit.

(5.) With Watch Series 9, the Cupertino, California-based giant is also bringing more integration with the HomePod. This is helpful or devices with things such as play lists.

The ‘double tap’ gesture

By simply tapping their thumb and forefinger together, twice, users will be able to perform functions such as answer calls, end calls, open widgets, and more, without actually touching Watch Series 9.

The feature will be introduced to the smartwatch in October.

Nothing much changed apart from type c support better to go for 14 or even 13 if you get it cheaper

Apple should launch their collage for marketing degree will rank above most of ivy league colleges 😁

They keep selling useless/unnecessary features under premier tag & later they remove it & present it as a feature 🤦

I am a fan of this company but for all wrong reasons 🤣

i dnt agree, dynamic island makes it stand with premium 14 pro range, also the 48mp camera.
there can be an arguement that you wont feel camera, but one will not feel performance too if compared with iphone 12. obviously for regular tasks

You don't agree yet you are validating what he says.

what i am saying is there wont make be major differences in mobiles now, mobile devices have reached a saturation in terms of R&D for now, one cant say that the newer model is released without changes, changes nowadays are miniscule. there are changes other than usb c, like the camera and dynamic island, and shift from sh*t lightning port to usb c which is a reason enough to spend extra 10-15k i guess..

What's so different about dynamic island I know it feels/looks good but isn't any phone can be made to do it??

Even in times when phones are getting higher screen/body ratio this black patch might not be very pleasing all the time.
