Are you a first-generation stock market investor from your family?
If yes, how did u convince your parents/family members to invest in financial assets? What did you say? What were the difficulties you faced?
If no, which financial instruments does your family invest in?

My dad never supports me (vo unke time k sher the ) but i kind of like to do it so i would jot down few golden rules for trading/investing :-
1. Always use own money.
2. Diversify your portfolio.
3. Place strict SL for your stocks.
4. Never forget rule nos 1-3

perfectly said… about not getting lured by leveraging [borrowing to run the business (of trading and/or investing)].
ditto.. further to stop loss (writing full form##)… debateable perhaps, but still… downside averaging can turn into a really dangerous ‘habit’. (and some habits become hard to change).
##full form: lest @OP_(Original Poster) eventually starts feeling the same way as i did, after watching⤵️
Started to learn to invest during college days and some of the wisest things learnt are:
1. Never take decisions to invest on rumours or tips – you should invest and not gamble
2. Control your greed and your fear while taking decisions
3. Do good research and understand the business before investing
4. Do not be emotional for any particular stock.
Well said. Karma pending
