I have deposited 1k cash into idbi atm deposit machine.After depositing it returns "Transaction timed out" and money neither credited nor returned.
The machine too displays the transaction slip of timed out with how much notes tendered.
Please clarify how to proceed.Do I need to contact bank for raise the ticket?
You will have to fill a form with complete bank account details and how many notes stucked in machine along with time out slip.
To the base branch or branch which responsible for managing that cash deposit machine ?
@vasanth_ece I am not scaring you but I lost 2k cash once, while depositing 30k and when I inquired and followed back fo atleast 2 week all they said is that notes might be fake, that's why the machine didn't return the amount and this happened with ICICI CDM machine, did all the things complaint to custodian officer and all but still I lost my 2k and since that day I had never deposited any money on CDM machine. I hope you get your money back.
Don't panic. Meet the cash officer in the same branch and he'll give you form. Fill details like the record no, denoms, amount and your account details for refund. You'll receive the amount within a month.
Let try that.I hope RBI has atleast TAT of 7 days for atm cash withdrawal failed but debited from account.I am not sure whether that applies to cash deposit.

Same thing happened with me in BOB cash deposit machine.I just went inside branch and they took a written complain along with notes details and account number and they deposited the amount after 24 hrs
I faced today..Your terms ssue may be at working day.
Go the the branch associated with ATM.
Need to file some form along with the number of notes deposited.
You will get money - if it's card deposit
Anyways you need to fill the form with bank detaisl
I selected for cardess deposit by entering account number.Account number too present in receipt
Went to branch and filled the form and submit along with Transaction slip.They said it'll take 1-2 days to confirm and credit. Lets c.
