I haven’t seen till now… Only a day of account opening…. It is asking for debit card details to give full access to the account…. Right now.. I only have viewing rights… No transaction rights… I will wait 3-4 days…. I guess it’s a way of making debit card cumplulsory… If they dont give the virtual one….
If you need rupay platinum card then Au abhi account is not useful as it gives rupay classic debit card.

No they are telling to go to branch….. If not resolved… Will mostly leave the account idle.. It will automatically get closed after 2 years… Or when they will see no activity… They might call themselves
Had similar experience with AU digital savings account and unchecked debit card assuming virtual card would be applicable during application time. Then had to try contacting via twitter and toll free number for debit card issuance since was unable to login. They then dispatched the rupay platinum card after trying many times. Hope you also will be able to get it resolved without visiting branch in case you are fine to get the debit card. Not sure what is the process if debit card is not required

Go for au digital account…. Au abhi is just valid for one year.. After that you have to choose another account…. You can deselect… Debit card if you dont want…. In the application…. If u want u will get platinum rupay card with au digital account… Charge-150+gst
