Axis bank Indian oil credit card

I have got approval for axis bank IOCL CC with LTF option.

I chose this because FK axis has charges, so wanted to use this for sometime and request for fk axis LTF.

I have few queries ( I asked their CCARE but they are not very clear may be new recruits, but wanted to hear from DD).

1. Can I swipe on any card machine to get waiver on fuel surcharge at IOCL or have to swipe on axis machine?

2. Min. Transaction website says 200, but CC says 400, which is correct?

3. Did anyone receive 500 amazon voucher as per their website, CC says no such offer.

4. Initial 100% cashback of 250 when used within 30 days of card arrival. Did anyone receive this benefit.  CC has no clue sad.

5. Another benefit is 1% cash back on online spends and accelerated reward points of 20 on every 100 spent at IOCL. Are these points worth?

Nice.thank you for your effort really kissing_heart.
Now as I understood we all are eligible for 500 amazon voucher as long as we activate our card by 30th nov.
And for 500 fuel cashbavk, 100% upto 250 this month and 100% upto 250 next month shall receive cashbavk.
That should solve everyones questions.

Where is 30th nov mentioned? It is within 30 days of issuance, right?

1. People have claimed they got it on icici or paytm machine so not sure what the criteria is, I've found an indian oil pump with axis machine near my house and fill up there exclusively. 2. Minimum to get accelerated points is 100 rs and to get surcharge vaiver is 200, max 5000 for both. 3. I asked cutomer care and this was the response- "Please to inform you that, on card activation within first 30 days (from the date of card issuance), the customer will be eligible for Rs. 500 Amazon Pay voucher as an additional benefit. The detailed T&C of the campaign are:– The offer is valid till 30th Nov 2022 The offer is valid only for customer sourced with Promo Code/Fee Profile: PNN The Customers will get the Amazon Pay Voucher within 60 days of Card Activation." 4. Yes got 250 in 3-4 days of transaction but was expecting 500 as per the current offer. Didn't reach out to customer care for this. 5. These points are worth 20p against amazon flipkart gv giving 4% net reward
Filled up petrol for 820 at iocl pump, was charged 831.8, cash back rebate 8.23. So lost 3.50rs for 820. 80 accelerated points means 8rs? Net net better if I use Amazon icici or amex gold that have complete waiver.

They have now implemented otp for consent system for on call card request for existing users so it complies with new rbi guidelines of not issuing any card to a customer without clear consent.

Forget about getting ace easily as long as 5% unlimited cb is there on bill payments, it is much easier to get magnus nowadays.

It should have been 160 points worth  40rs, you got 80 pts worth 20rs, still better i belive but best to find a pump near house that gives full accelerated points and stick to rhat one only

I read it somewhere...
For every swipe equal to or less than ₹1000 a 1% surcharge is applicable subject to a minimum value of ₹10 per transaction but reversal is done only for the actual amount of fuel that you have purchased
So, always purchase for more than Rs.1000 for higher CB (you are still going to pay the GST but the accelerated points will compensate more than that)

But i have contacted axis and the min. Limit to get 1% surcharge waiver is 200. Not sure where 1000 is mentione. I have posted chat transcript above.

Even if i calculate 18% gst on 8.20 rs still it will not come to 3.50 rs that they have deducted. My only aim to be careful and know how they arrive at 3.50 GST and other charges if any.

Not sure about the calculation but below are two transactions and CB that i have got:

1. Petrol filled: Rs.3000/-; Charged: Rs:3035.4; CB: Rs.30.02/-; RP: 600

2. Petrol filled: Rs.300/-; Charged: Rs:332.86; CB: Rs.3.29/-; RP: 60

35.4 on 3000 is correct. 1% of 3000 is 30 and 18% GST on 30 is 5.40.

2. Petrol filled: Rs.300/-; Charged: Rs:332.86; CB: Rs.3.29/-; RP: 60

clueless charged more. Not sure why.

My comments

Why ia the amount charged so high and txn amount is less. What's the use of using card then?

This actually helps me understand why i was charged Rs 11 extra on Rs 250 txn. Not worth using this card for scooty refill!

Can you recall whether iocl petrol pump owner name is third party or iocl itself?

In my case it was third party, mentioned owner name as other than iocl in bill
