During previous myzone ltf offer many ppl holding ltf flipkart card failed to get that(some also got it but it seems they were in minority) but no harm in trying if not worried about cibil score.

Yeah. But the reviews of this card are bad. But no I think if it's LTF, then no harm in getting a fuel card.
Any better alternative for fuel other than this? LTF most preferred.
I have applied yesterday which shown 0 for both joining and annual as below screenshot. So this card is lifetime free?

Ah, not again, not touching any axis card till offer for FK LTF...

Annual fees will be waived upon spending 50000 per year? Or without spending there is no annual fee?

Most of the time, Petrol Pumps levy a Fuel Surcharge if you make payment via Credit Card. In general, this is 2%. However, most companies waive off 1%, You still need to pay 1% from your pocket. Unless you have a card that pays you to reward points on Fuel Spends, it makes sense to pay via UPI or RuPay Debit Cards.
Till Now, I was using a Slice card as it completely waived off the charges. However, Slice is closing now, and I am considering switching to My SBI IndianOil Rupay Debit Card which would give me 0.75% reward points.
I have considered other cards like Axis IndianOil and SBI BPCL, but their Terms and Conditions are complex, and it makes sense to get them only if you have a petrol pump nearby satisfying their TnCs.?
Happy to hear thoughts from other dimers.
PS: I spend around 8000Rs on Petrol every month.

I'll always get petrol at my nearby Indian oil petrol station and when the bill comes to 3540(for example), then i handover my credit card and same amount gets posted to it. I'm wondering how surcharge works here. Most of the time, Petrol Pumps levy a Fuel Surcharge if you make payment via Credit Card. In general, this is 2%. Okay, So this is how it works:
I purchased petrol via my Slice Card for 3141. However, the amount I was charged for was 3141+2%
Since Slice waived it off I had to pay only 3141.
Considering your case, If you are getting fuel for 3540. You would be charged for 3610.8.
Since most of the cards waive 1% off, I expect you would see 3575.40 rs in your credit card statement.
In the end, You may end up paying 35₹ more.

As per this doc, even Indian Oil card will not accrue edge rewards on Fuel. I assume, this card can still get reward points in Indian Oil outlets, or else what use this will be of?

aggrox wrote:Petrol cards are anyday better for your use case. And ur post abt surcharge is wrong i guess.normal surcharge is only one percent and so many cards waive it. I hold a BPCL octane card which gives 6.25% back excluding the 1% back. Any bp petrol pumps usage gives 6.25% and agreed redemption is only thru some of them bunk, but they can be done once in few months also. For ur case scenario of 8k a month it gives back it gives 350 back a month after deducting annual fee. If u spend 2 lakh a month in that card, it becomes 500 back a month. For first year u get 1500 rs worth reward points. See below screenshot for surcharge percentMost of the time, Petrol Pumps levy a Fuel Surcharge if you make payment via Credit Card. @ankitify would you mind sharing your sbi account type code? It is shown in netbanking account show last 10 transactions link. Something like "SBGEN-XXX-XXX". Need to check which type Indian oil rupay dc can be issued, didn't work on my ac, had to go for JCB dc.
