Guys help needed,

Maine galti se axis app me cc upgrade me click kr diya,uske baad mera old card with 1 addon card new select credit card upgrade ka msg gya aur 3000+540 gst 2 times debit ho gya, now ab wo bol rhe ye reverse nahi ho skta kyuki upgrade already ho gya,ab aak cc dispatch ka msg aaya,now what to do approx 7k debit ho gye cc se,what if i don't accept the credit card?

Any other solution?

Isn't the new rule from RBI says if don't activate the card, we can't be charged?

Recently i was fooled by hdfc about ltf diners card. Received the card but it wasn't ltf. Didn't activate the card and blocked it and i wasn't charged a single penny.

I think it is about new card applications, may not be about card upgrades. Better to read that RBI notification

If upgrading card in axis app involves more than 1 click/touch then it won't be considered as "unsolicited" from RBI rules point of view. if just one touch/click was required then may be possible to get charges reversed by complaining to axis nodal officer by quoting above rbi rule & saying accidently touched/clicked the option.

Two days back I have closed my Axis flipkart cc as my credit limit on the card is very less I.. e 15000, the customer care didn't tried to retain and closed the card on request, may be they are doing over business and want to let go if any customer wants.

Ok, so your card is upgraded now and whenever you are requesting an upgrade in the Axis bank app it clearly showcases joining and annual fee. Certainly you have ignored it. Now to come out of this and save yourself paying 7k follow these steps:

1. Do not activate the card at any cost

2. Follow up with Axis bank representative and ask them to raise a issue for reversal of joining fee

3. Tag rbi and axis on Twitter and ask to resolve the dispute

4. Visit branch if possible and provide a written complaint

5. Write and email to axis bank higher authorities cc'g rbi as well. This is the most effective one.

Mind it you need to get this dispute resolved within the month otherwise overdue can destroy your CIBIL.
