So I had applied for Axis flipkart cc long ago and it keeps getting declined as soon as I try to apply from the app. Recently I was contacted by some agency for axis lic cc on card 2 care basis and I thought I might try my luck. Lo and behold. The application was declined again citing some “not meeting the card requirements”
Is that even a legit reason? Can I contest it with rbi ombudsman?
I also applied for Axis myzone card yesterday and it got instant declined due to some internal policy today.
what options do I have?
i own an amazon pay icici card, hdfc moneyback, indusind legend and sbi simply click all with decent limits and I’ve never missed any payments ever. My cibil is 780 and Experian is 840.

Reason can be anything (apart from your CIBIL score )
1. Last rejection
2. Unserviceable area
3. High default area
Axis is stupid, move on.
same with me. Have ample number of cards including premium cards with high limits but Axis and HDFC always reject my requests.

Same here. Last time I applied in Feb/March and it got declined as usual now tempted to apply again as MyZone is being offered as LTF 🙄
May be your profile is risky. Your total unsecured Loan amount may be near to your income. Are you exceeding 30% usage limit? Too many address changes?

My usage is probably in single percentage. My ITR is less though but I think that shouldn’t matter considering I applied on card 2 card basis?
also I’ve been living at the same address since I was born so nothing about that
