*Caution. This is not a laptop, this is a desktop replacement. Since you will be spending more than 1lakh on this, I will recommend you to build your own desktop. It ll be more efficient that way. Still you wanna spend some serious money on a mobile *
Two months earlier I had shared a Lenovo deal on a custom made Gaming Laptop. On this post I am going to share about an Indian Company, whose sole business is to provide customized gaming laptops/workstations.
https://az...o/ is their official website. It sounds extremely scammy, and I bet 90% people have not even heard of the company. But I can vouch for their authenticity. They don’t manufacture laptops, they assemble the laptop on a ready made chassis. They use Clevo Barebones for this purpose. https://www.clevo.com.tw/index-...sp <- this is their official link(Clevo’s). Trust me Clevo is a legend in this field. Schenker laptops are Clevo ones. Check them out https://www.schenker-tech....n/ . Technically you and I can too import barebones to India, but customs and such stuff will make it a deal breaker.

Two Configurations are available. 16.1" model (Exigo V4, support RTX 2060) and 17.3" model(Legion, RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 and you can use overclockable desktop processor, ESS SABRE HiFi DAC Headphone Audio, Thunderbolt).

USP of AZOM
1) Desktop grade processors. You can buy a new CPU and install it. Alienware Area 51 m https://www.dell.com/en-in/shop/gaming-and-game... allows you to do so, HP ZBook https://store.hp.com/in-en/default/hp-zbook-17-... too allow you to do so. ZBook even allows you to upgrade the GPU. But it is a workstation. So we are dealing with whole different ballgame. But they cost a fortune. Some older Thinkpads also allow you to do so. World is really small. And if we google about up-gradable laptops then we can find a dozen of other options as those are very popular abroad. Ah, I recall there is one more, System 76 is one such manufacturer. But AZOM is cheaper.
2) Thermal System. They have the best thermal system within this budget I can assure you. This is a two year old video published by Digit.

Expensive MSI, ROG, Alienware can beat this thing anytime. But this is what you get for this money.
3) Door step warranty. Boy I love their warranty policy. They have explicitly mentioned what is right and what is fixable. Have a look. https://azom.io/user/themes/azom/pdf/azom-warra...
4) Unlike ACER, Lenovo, Asus and Dell, Azom allows you to upgrade stuff by yourself. If any glitches are observed then just remove that component and your warranty ll be the same as before.
Demerits:
1) Bulky, heavy machine requiring good ventilation. See, you cram a beastly desktop processor in a laptop. You need to cool it down. So, they have installed separate cooling solutions for both CPU and GPU. Weight is unknown. Expect it to be at least 2.8KG(My opinion only).
2) Warranty. See, they are based in Kolkata. You need to send the laptop back to them. They cover the shipment charges I called them yesterday only. I encourage you to call them, whether you want to buy or not. They deserve a bit of appreciation for their efforts. I mean, potential buyers are here. But according to me, I doubt if they are able to sell even 1 laptop in 6 months. Reason is very simple. People build desktops. And People dont know them. People, who know them, dont wanna trust them as they are an Indian company.
3) They use HGST hard drives, Patriot RAMs and Plextor SSDs. Existence of them were unknown to me till prior yesterday. Haha. Intel, Samsung, Crucial, WD etc sound amazing. I encourage you to further investigate on this if possible.
4) Such an expensive machine, but they give displays with 92% sRGB color coverage. With Legion Y740 you have an option to get 500nits HDR display. It is more like meh.
5) There are certain lines in the warranty policy, which are a bit disturbing. for example “End of Life for Mobility Solutions is considered 3 Years from the month of purchase.”, “Any cosmetic damages that are larger than the size of a One Rupee Coin will be taken care of by Azom if reported within the first 24 hours of original delivery.”, “Since Azom does not directly manufacture LCD panels used in our solutions, we are going to pass over the same warranty terms that Azom has with the manufacture(s) to the customer. If any of the three conditions are met or exceeded, Azom will replace the unit for the customer: Over 6 bright dots or 5 black dots or 5 mixed bright and block dots in total.” etc.

True bhai. 🙂 Honestly if someone is spending money above 1 lakh for laptops then they should consider building a desktop instead. How are their products anyway?

Legit Azom user here. Can totally vouch for their product and service. I ordered mine in March 2017 – got the Exigo version.

Full specs back then -

Azom Laptop – Exigo
Clevo Barebone – P750DM2
Display – 15.6” IPS Full-HD 1920×1080 60Hz
CPU – Intel Kaby Lake Desktop Grade i5-7500
GPUNVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5
RAM – 16GB 2133MHz DDR4
Storage1 – SATA 2.5” 1TB 5400rpm HDD
Storage2 – M.2 2280 240GB SATA SSD

Gameplay video –

Since then I’ve upgraded the RAM to 32GB and added two more storage drives (including a 1TB SSD – the machine has 4 storage slots).

No complaints so far. Will upgrade my CPU soon, to maybe an i9.
