I actually used to like many of their products until we slowly started reading about quality check failures. We still use a few products regularly at home. I hope Patanjali standardised quality of all products and maintains it.
This is a good move, let’s see how well it takes off.

Patanjali has a lot of good quality products and especially a range of medicinal products, all at very competitive prices.
Still, some products require quality improvement.
People still using products of many international brands blindly even after many complaints of quality and controversy. But they habitual of put doubt on local brands (specially Patanjali) due to political reasons.
Patanjali giving a very tough competition to many stabilized big brands. Many international brands already coping Patanjali’s way and started selling in the name of herbal etc.
Earlier all people always said to use swadeshi products but no one giving options and a range of products. Patanjali gives both.
Ramdev brings back the glory of Yoga to the world which helps every one to get fit and healthy.
I agree to some of your points but in an ambition to grow very big they started outsourcing and that’s where their troubles started.
For people patanjali was the anti-hero who challenged the big fmcg demon.
But baba’s nationalist overdose is actually killing the patanjali brand.
So now Colgate is maintaining its share but dabur, Vicco the local companies have already lost huge market share and fighting for survival against patanjali. So baba actually did a big dis-service strangling local brands.
I feel he should know when to shut his trap in front of the media and work silently and focused like Acharya BK.

My parents and brother family uses patanjali products, Earlier I used to hate as hesitation..only use toothpaste..but brother insisted me to use other products, and really want to say othe products are also good too.
If you check anyother product with Patanjali products, patanjali products are much better than anyother i only use Patanjali because of its quality..

Regarding Quality of Patanjali Products:
Patanjali products are being manufactured in GMP certified facilities, with FSSAI license. The products exported are also being manufactured in same facilities and are almost equal in quality
Their products are available since decades in US, UK, UAE, AUSTRAILA etc where not. And are popular there. There have been no reports of quality issues elsewhere not even in here.
And as per US FDA analysis of many indian products, they found heavy metals in many products of baidyanath and many brands but patanjali wasnt in list. And their products aren’t banned any where.
So quality is not a concern as well as price.
Thats why people call him Lala Ramdev 
I don’t like any of the Patanjali products I have used.
1. Detergent Soap. 1 star out of 5. You can not wash even a handkerchief with it.
2. Patanjali Turmeric powder. 3 stars out of 5. Additional (not sure natural or chemicals) colors added to turmeric.
3. Patanjali Multani Mitti bathing soap. 1.5 stars out of 5. You will feel real rough mitti/mud rubbed on to your body. They could have filter it before using in soap.
4. Chawanprash. 3.5 stars out of 5. Dabur is taste wise far far better.
5. There are many others to add to this list.
Most important things which I didn’t like about this brand is they promise they did research for years to make the products when they actually are a marketing company like HUL or P n G etc. and most of their products are being manufactured by different vendors.
This is my personal opinion. I would like to go for Dabur and other ayurvedic brands.

Many Patanjali products are good
And many are just hyped like this and that but the packaged content description shows the same thing as any other brand same product.
Yes patanjali has jumped in to too many things rather than concentrating on its stronger products.
They will have to work up with their policies in through manner to compete with Mncs .
Patanjali has established itself as a Brand in very little time and with little money comparitively , and to sustain its Brand image , it will have to really think in that direction and grow.
Goldy masala of Kanpur provides masala to Patanjali.
Not very much well known company (MDH, Everest, Ramdev, Catch good brands) but they are selling very good beacuse they just put baba ramdev brand and sell it.
This is cheating to consumers, do not wanna write much as you guys understand it
No one can manufacture all product by itself. Even Tea, coffee are bought is bulk from tea, coffee processing factories.
They do quality check and i have trust.
