Bajaj finance 20k loan fraud at byjus

my friend is having a bajaj finance card. A loan has been initiated on his card worth 20k(emi form). The loan was initiated on 6th feb. He has not performed any transaction and also didn’t got any otp. He also dont have any msg regarding loan on 6th feb in his inbox. While checking his emails on 9th feb he found that a loan has been initiated. He was not aware of that. He called bajaj finance helpline bit they are not listening to them, they are saying that please ask the merchant (byjus) to cancel the loan, they can’t cancel it. When he called byjus they are saying that there is no plan active for his phone/email. 

I also posted it on twitter on behalf of him, but their support is really bad. They are saying we ll contact you in 2 days. Time is passing. What should we do! If both bajaj and byjus refuses ro help, what otherway we should go! Can we complain online in cyber crime! Please suggest. Or any senior official EMail ids of bajaj and byjus to get it resolved!!

Go to cyber police and register a FIR, otherwise don’t expect anything and ready to pay 20k and maybe more in future.

Even that, i checked his email and msg history there was no msg or email. We are not able to get it that how it processed

this is the main issue , they are a nbfc you can complain on rbi ombudsman they have to reply and ur frnd have to complain there as early as possible so that solution comes before 2 march i.e first emi date.

yes it works online. when nothing else works it will. they are kind of slow that’s why complain as soon as possible.

@mjuneja13 – Byju’s customer care may not be able to locate it with phone number and email, as he didn’t sign-up but a fraudulent setup. Ask to speak to BILLING / FINANCE TEAM at Byju’s. File an FIR for FRAUD against BYJU’S and Bajaj FINANCE too.

Off topic: I also had a BajajFinserv insta emi card which i applied 7-8 months ago, now i have closed this and the same card has been showing locked in BajajFinserv app now how can i confirm that this card is really closed and do i need to get a NOC from them regarding this card closure, if yes whom to contact??

bajaj emi card is not like credit card or any other credit line they make a unique credit account in credit repory for every purchase. if u make 10 purchases there will be 10 credit accounts. there is no way to confirm it but i have been using it since 2016 this case is an exception . they are loan sharks but not frauds.

I have not used this card for purchase even once only applied but not used it that’s why asking is NOC required or not??

no NOC required . if u did atleast 1 purchase than you would have automatically got NOC after last emi payment . just block it by calling customer care and don’t worry they deduct charges if u dont use , so if you don’t want it block it.

they had customer care number earlier but i don’t think it works now raise a request on online portal they will call you back with 1-2 days.
