Those thinking of getting kotak 811 or dbs digibank account,make sure that there is a bank branch in your Aadhaar city address else the acc will be closed after 1 year.My friend confirmed from kotak customer care that this requirement is only for kotak 811 account & for normal accounts opened offline there is no need for aadhaar address city to have their bank branch.
