I am an account holder at Bank of Baroda.
Type of account - SB Financial Inclusion Account, i.e. Jan Dhan a/c (PMJDY)
I need some information from you.
1. Is a cheque book facility provided along with PMJDY - Jan Dhan a/c ?
2. Is the Rupay debit card facility (without a yearly fee) provided along with the PMJDY - Jan Dhan a/c? (Also, Share the charges of issuance first time)
As per bank staff, Cheque Book and Rupay card issuance to Jan Dhan a/c holders has been stopped.

Raise Complaint via official Bank Channels and Nodal Officer. Probably employee is lying to lure you open high variant accounts. It's a common ill-practice by these psu banks. They are bound to open Basic Savings/PMJDY Accounts.
No Chaque Book only PMJDY rupay dc.
