I have Prime KYC & Non-Prime Non KYC Accounts , So I shop frequently clubbing Offers which are Account Specific !
Today 30 minutes back I have a Shocking News @ 8:30 AM
Amazon Agent ( DeliveryGuy ) delivered items which were ordered & Forced to update KYC [ as he told Amazon App is asking to update KYC ] !
He asked my mobile phone and scanned QR code from my phone and did something for 15 minutes and finally told getting error !
What’s this ?
I remember KYC is compulsory from March 1 , 2020 ?
Is Amazon shoppers can’t shop without KYC ?
What happens to Amazon Pay Gift Card balance in Accounts already received as cashback ?

Please Dont Confuse With Amazon Pay ( Wallet ) And Amazon Shopping. These Are Two Different Things.
I Have Been Getting Delivery Guys Telling Me To Update KYC After Every 2-3 Days Of My Delivery. Just Say Them Its Already Done. Also You Can Say That You Dont Use Amazon Pay For Shopping So I Dont Need Full KYC.
As Per RBI, KYC Is Compulsory For Wallets Not For Shopping. The Delivery Guy Confused You And You Went Forward With KYC. Do Not Entertain If You Dont Want To Do KYC. There Are Few Who Collect Data And Sell. So Beware Of Them As Well. And Keep Eye On Their Mobile Screen.
If You Want To Use Amazon Pay Then Most Of Us Now We Can Get Gift Voucher And Add To The For Any Kind Of Amazon Pay Offer.

- Dont worry about wallet balance. Nothing is gonna happen to that.
- Even the March 1st deadline is going to be extended again.. (or permanently withdrawn depending on the market situation) just like pan-aadhar linking.. it’s mere coercion nothing solid behind this.
So, ignore each and every threat and keep vigil while dealing with sensitive (personal) informations.

Let me explain this
All vendors of Amazon Transport Services have been instructed to conduct a day called KYC day so the vendor in turn forces the field executive to complete a minimum of 5 KYC on that particular day, they (executives) particularly target those customers who order regularly (they get commission for every KYC completed)

Upon clicking on the Schedule Now it shows me a screen where the appointment option is disabled. Guessing my pin code is not activated for physical verification yet.
Thing is, Amazon should stop this circus. When a party has already uploaded his/her documents, they should just be done with it once and for all.
Do you know the guy who forced you to upload? is he a regular amazon guy?
it’s really fishy since some ppl sells others info for money and later it might get you in trouble if these lands with criminals ☹
also none of the delivery personnels in my.area are forcing us to do kyc.
No , He is not a regular guy , He visited First Time to deliver ordered items .
Regular guy always delivered without any hassle .

KYC is only needed for Amazon Pay (money) not for GIFTS AND CREDITS
Their is no limitation and restriction on gift and credits balance and never will be.
I have completed kyc by self by submitting Selfie,Voter ,Pan and both documents photo by myself. Then on next order completed full in a few seconds visiting Accounts Settings on Amazon app and scanning Deliverey boy qr code. No worry it is Amazon . Not a freecharge. So no worry.
Kyc complete Karo ya na Karo Kuch farak nehi parega. No extra benefits for kyc users. If Amazon limit on gift card then it a matter till then nothing happens .

Once someone literally pleaded with me to, let the parcel be left with security.. because if completes his run in the pre lunch slot/shift.. his “performance” would improve.
(system assigns more parcrls to better rated and efficient vendors/agency).

Maybe this johnny too had some reward/target in sight for completing “N” KYCs to get so and so bonus/ extra business.

Or that @syed786 has some crosslinked (related accounts.. as Amazon calls it) mess that flags the delivery person’s device to convince the cust.
Newbie agents might not know the bypass kyc request procedure.

Im a hardcore amz buyer and till date i dont have a kyc account and no one forced me to.
It should be the pay kyc like other diners said.
But yes, they might implement something soon, since frauds has increased a lot.
