Imp thing to ask is :If we pay 60% of my income in taxes then don’t we deserve better roads and better basic facilities ? or we should say ..no it doesn’t matters as show statues are build in some other part of country or new pm house is made and there ppl are happy bcoz of this money ?It is quite intriguing

Eventually we will reach a stage where we are given 18% of our income and rest go for tax to fill their coffers. I wouldn’t mind coughing up taxes if it’s reflected upon in terms of development but sadly we neither witness any good happening in terms of development nor do we pay less tax.

We are back to British rule actually.
Actually only one kind of people will wake up and i.e. peoples who giving tax, but peoples who are unemployed or getting free money will never wake up, as they even don’t know what future is being created & what history is already created.
The excuse of taxes for vaccines.. I mean some of these learned scholars in high places sure got their bhindis in a bunch.. During economic slow downs unless you lower taxes and also interest rates, it will take far far longer for any kind of recovery rather than a death spiral.. Raising taxes is a short term scheme only, it lower productivity and the intake will drop like a rock when no one has money to buy and profits are non existent. Right now business are working on saved capital.. How long can this go on? I dont think anyone is making profits in the country except the government and those profits used to build their own infrastructure in Europe and the US and maybe Dubai..
It is cess which comes under revenue receipt of govt as shown in budget so it is in public domain compulsorily.
With due respect to PM, this govt don’t seem to have any economic agenda. Everything is done in knee and jerk fashion. Absolute lack of long term economic vision. This stems from the fact that economic experts don’t have much say in policymaking !
This government is business friendly.. Only their own though.. How to bring in US$ the fastest way and the most any which way.. Problem is only connected people can take advantage of it. Basically means enslaving the rest of the population who are not intelligent enough to figure that out.
Yes. Pay more taxes so that money can be given to free people like protesting in the name of farm bill.
india me jo sharaft se tax deta hai usi ko nanga kia jata hai. only 1% of the whole population is paying tax i.e 1.43 crore what about rest of 120cr+ people. this is so frustrating.
sala salary baad me aati hai tax pehle kt jata hai uske baad bhi kya milta hai ? toll tax ? income tax ? professional tax ? gst ? swach bharat tax ? and now this new tax ?

It seems like.. people donated only 3K crores (Actual collections during first 7 days post set-up)
May be this is what we are supposed to be believe that the funds got depleted due to select % of free covid tests and vacchines

Dont know about drinking water, but there should be high taxes on water in general, people wasting it like anything to “wash” their nanos or altos

govt is always busy in finding ways to take more tax rather than solving issues which create overall growth and long term increase in there revenue
