If looking for Mi, can have a look at Xiaomi 11i too.
If you want Qualcomm processor, can go with Poco X4 Pro 5G/ Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G.
If you want stock android clean experience, Moto G71 another worthy option
Xioami 11 nite NE or Iqoo z6 pro..

@getready it seems this Dimer (@Kyocera_IP69K_phone_needed_at_chespest_price) tried reaching out to you earlier, but could not.
Any thoughts, on what could be somewhat VFM (value for money) and still have IP69K or some better ruggedness and still have decent specs to survive 3-4 years.
https://www.sonimtech.com/products/devices/xp8 Sonim XP8 seemed like a decent rugged phone, but then some reviews after couple of months of use.. had users reporting that the battery did not hold up as much charge.
IDK😕
Cc: @LIMBO;
any decent rugged phone. Even ready to let go of front facing cam or cam hidden behind the screen. (No 5G needed, just IP69K or better performance needed, that is all)
Apologies JSK for taking it bit off-topic.

Don’t have much idea about these IP/Military certifications. I can google, read a few articles and suggest a mobile but i doubt it will be a good one

Thanks a tonne.
Even I do not care in the least about U.S. MIL ratings.
Nor actually even care for IP68 or IP69K ratings..
.. just need a device (for someone else).
Which can qithstand real falls from a height and can withstand a vit better in grime/ dust and water splashes (including sunsoil water).
But not that important for now.. so it might not be worth your time to have to reasearch all that.
Thanks again.🙂
I first got sold on the idea when I’d seen a some Korean oil and rig person with a CAT branded phone.
From time to time I kept looking for viable options, with warranty in India.
But sadly the two biggest hopes, LG and Moto, on the budget end.. have all but vanished in this segment.
Samsunf, Apple are there.
Sony too was. But none having it in their basic range.
I too gave up on the idea.. around the time someone published this video.
But now I’m thinking of giving one to an uncle (family friend of ours)
who is bit of an anthropologist and archaeologist.
