Please suggest low cost options for using International airport lounge outside India.
Priority pass/Diners club available with some HDFC credit cards are the cheapest options available as per my knowledge.
Please share other free/low cost methods of access
And any tricks for non credit card holders.

Dnt use RuPay-Discover/Diners club cards for International lounge access because you need to pay full amount and then wait for 45days to get full refund but some useless banks takes 5 to 6 months to credit your International lounge refund.
Rupay-JCB cards are good $1 charge (refundable), they use LoungeKey for International airport lounge + In-City lounge also available but currently lounekey registration not working with RuPay-JCB global cards (If anyones card successfully registered then let me know).
Note - In-City lounge dnt need LoungeKey registration and Japan & Hawaii airport lounge also dnt need loungekey.
abhishek012 bhai, would hdfc dcb cc work for international lounge access? and what would be the charges?
Any information or updates on this?
Funny story – i got DCB card as i was travelling to the US with layover at Dubai in the morning. So thought of using the Priority Pass to enter lounge and use the restroom since the airport restrooms had a huge line. So went to the lounge (i think it was Plaza Premium) took the elevator i think to reach there and it was empty. Went to the restroom section and lo and behold there was a big line there !! Stood in the line and when my turn came could not do my business since in the back of the mind you know there are impatient crowd waiting outside. Just came out of the lounge.
Can you confirm the charges/hold for using DCB at a priority pass lounge internationally?
I was not charged anything for using Priority pass in the international lounge. It was long back though in 2016. Don’t use PP in domestic lounge since its chargeable, use DCB card only.
My DCB didn’t come with a priority pass so I am guessing it is the card itself that need be used for the lounge access now.
Priority pass can be applied online i guess if you have a card that offers it. Or customer care can issue one for you.
My understanding is priority pass requires a priority pass card. But the DCB works directly because most lounges have a diners club access too.
Diners Credit Cards like ClubMiles, Privilege, Black works directly at international lounges since it is in Diners network.
List of eligible lounges can be checked here - https://www.dinersclub.com/cardmembers/airport-...
Thanks.
One more question (I am planning to use this card in a week) – Do I need to enable international transactions on this card before I could use it to access the lounge internationally?
Yes
As far as I know Rupay Select and few Rupay-JCB cards.
