I want to invest some money for a short time period ~ 3 Months. I have read about debt funds which offer a better return with minimum risk. I stumbled on these funds on Phonepe app but I wanted to be sure before investing.

Please suggest some options other than debt funds to invest money to get best returns and if debt funds are a good option please suggest which app is good based on your experience & if possible suggest some good debt funds as well.

Doesn’t matter which App you use, they’re just mediators in the game, however which fund you choose, That Matters !

Any debt fund which outperforms it’s benchmark and gives good returns…

Go for low duration or ultra short term funds, although with the budget announcements, there could be some juggling with the equity portfolio…

MIrae Assets Savings fund
ICICI Pru Ultra short term
Kotak Low duration
Axis treasury

DIsclaimer: COnsult your investment advisor for any advice, these are just my recommendations…

Also understand tax liability and the declaration of such taxes for Debt category…

Not aiming for high profits in the beginning. 10% would be fine to start with. Will aim for higher profits after gaining more knowledge about money market

FD comes with a lock-in period & they deduct charges if withdrawn earlier than lock-in period.
Most of the debt funds comes with 0 withdrawal charges & I can withdraw them instantly whenever required

Do not get into low or ultra short or midnight funds as their ROI is least say 3-5% annually because they are safest. Instead of them u can get 6% in Idfc savings which is better option..

Further debt option kindly make sure if there is any exit load. Also, mf redemption attracts capital gains tax . So if u r taxable person , it might reduce your ROI. So plan accordingly.

If u want to play safe – Invest in debt funds
If u want to take risk – invest in hybrid funds

If u want to learn market – than start investing some portion directly into market.

Pm me if want to know more

These are the Debt funds which “can” provide returns for short term or ultra short term money parking.. Look at the performance against Nifty or Index or Gold or even inflation to see if it’s able to deliver consistent returns is all.. I had these in my mind if I wanted to park funds for very short term…. I was planning to buy a house so once the capital jugaad is done, would park it in one of these until the actual down payment time comes..

That “can” word can be used for plenty of instruments. As of now the ytm of those funds is less than 4%
Good luck for your home man. Only lucky and hardworking one’s are able to buy/build one in a life.

Yeah, but better safe than sorry……Those are for short and ultra short term,…

Technically this is my third home… Can’t break savings to buy a house, which is why we have to bet on the market sad
