When we play videos from USB pendrive, the DD sound only works on pre-installed media player. Not other video players like vlc and Kodi even after turning on Allow Passthrough. Any solution for this? Kodi works a little better, but not like default one.

Same here in Hisense 55A71F. DD only work with stock Media player. Tried almost all media players and settings as well. So 5.1 users must get Dolby Digital supported Home Theatre, else you wont get real 5.1 effect. Dolby True Vision also works with stock player only.
