No brand maintains same quality-changes with seasons, Patanjali was good, now Kohinoor also OK. BigBasket/Indiagate Dubar/Tibar are also good. All these are OK brands, with Okish aroma and length

If you are going for brand solely, then check Daawat and India Gate, these are the best “brands”
The quality of sub brands would vary depending on your choice of variety (Mogra, Dubar, Tibar, etc.)
For daily use Sonamasoori is also a good option

Double chabi is good.

Firstly the consumption of ‘’Basmati ’’ Rice is much more compared to its production and supply.
Original Basmati is sold at premium and atleast @ Rs 150 upwards.
Most of the rice under basmati are scented artificially and grain is lengthened using techniques.


Rozana ,Daily ,Super ,etc tagline are purely Fake  Basmati

Words Mogra / Kanki , Dubar , Tibar are original Basmati , the broken grain quality.

(obiviously quality may differ according to the seed used )

Indrayani rice one of the rice is great

We buy “Fortune Hamesh” rice . If u cook this rice in cooker then it is very tasty. But if u do in small dabba then taste will be not that great
