If it is possible you can make payment on your birthday(assuming card is under your name) using sbi prime card & get 5% worth reward points.

Amex MRCC. Users have offer of earning 15 RPs upto 5k on every Rs. 100 spent on insurance payments. I will use it myself for 23k in March. Still will be left with 10k limit to use on insurance.

No brother it should’ve been 1400 rps

The math, please! smile

Shouldn’t it be: (14000 / 100) * 2.5 = 350 ?
Just remembered the 10x thing.

10X Reward Points on Amazon

= 14000/100 = 140 * 10 (10X RP) = 1400 smile

But you must have got at least 700 points, right? There is a good chance that all those who received 5x points instead of 10x points on amazon gv purchase will get the remaining points after 1-2 months(same thing happened with a friend).

You, too, are a SimplyClick CC holder, right?

Because of this ambiguity, I ended up buying a 2k GV using HDFC smartbuy portal earlier this week.

All along, I thought SC never gave enhanced rps for GVs, but after seeing that you got at least 5x points, I will buy a 2k GV tomorrow and see what happens. smile

Any amazon transaction(excl amazonpay wallet loading) using simplyclick should give 10x reward points & that was the case for amazon gv too but 1-2 months ago people started getting 5x reward points on amazon gv & there were some other issues too so there was confusion. Some people called customer care & got the reply that remaining 5x points will be credited later & this is what happened with a friend who purchased an amazon gv around 1.5 months ago & got 5x points but recently got remaining 5x points too. I also purchased a 1k amazon gv a few days back & got 10x points for it so maybe the issue is resolved now.

Could it be related to some threshold(>5k) that SBI might have set where the card-user gets the other half later? I will be buying 2x 2k GV pm at max.
Is there a 5k pm limit in SBI, too?

No such limit at least officially, in worst case all it means though is a delay of 2 months for getting the points. Still better than no points at all or reduced points.

Paying through wallet or card? I dont know about wallet limits but it will work otherwise with CC DC and UPI.
