best gadget for conference call

I attend min of 4 to 5 hours call on Skype. My ears pain a lot, even though I use good headset.
If I switch to laptop mic and speaker, the laptop mic does not work well and I have go closet to the mic every time.
Please suggest me a good mic and speaker or mic which will help to take conference call.
Laptop speaker is good, mic alone is not good.
My laptop is disabled for Bluetooth, hence looking for USB OR Aux option..

I have not tested Bluetooth adapter, may be I can try

What you can do is …
1. Plug in your earphones into your laptop.
2. In sound devices settings.set default output settings to your laptop’s speakers.
3. Set default recording/input device to your earphones line in.
