Best Garmin watch for Trekking and other exercises

I am looking at Garmin Instinct Solar and Garmin Forerunner 245.
Which one is better for trekking, swimming activities?
Have searched on YouTube and hence finalized these 2, but would be helpful if someone has used any of these and can highlight which is better as per them.

Since these watches are very expensive and niche, Is it that you think you might need them or do you really need them?
Your phone can do almost all of the things that these watches has to offer.
I have seen trekkers with these watches on their wrist, but still using the mobile apps for checking time, distance covered, altitude, compass, navigation etc.
20,000 in the bank makes me more happier than 20,000 on the wrist.
