Howz this model?
Did u/anyone found any non chinese laptop???
One drawback with HP that I found is that it does not have battery charge management tool to limit charging. The main limitations with batteries are number of charge cycles and at what charge level the battery is used. That is, if you keep charging and discharging, the battery will not last long. Also, if you keep always charged at 100%, the battery will degrade very fast. Most laptop manufacturers have tools to limit charge to, say, 80% and hold it there if you are always using the laptop powered by AC ( like a desktop ). But HP has provided this only for the business laptops not the consumer laptops ( I think this is to be able to sell batteries ). If you are going to be using on a desk for a long time and only occasionally use it on the move, this is something worth considering.
which one is better ryzen 3250u vs i3 10th
Please don’t go for HP, My suggest is to go for Dell Inspiron model
I feel like acer is worst one
Nice Discussion …. So Much Helpful
Never ever buy a Chinese trash like Lenovo!!
Go for Asus /Acer /HP with SSD.
Microsoft is slowly moving towards making Windows as a Service instead of a product. The OS and all apps & games will run on cloud. Speed and power of your computer will not matter in the future. Your performance will depend on the subscription package you will select.
All this will happen in the next 5 years.
For personal users, it will never going to happen.
ACER
Don’t know why people say Lenovo are bad quality. Rupee per rupee, Lenovo makes some of the best laptops in the market.
We bought two laptops, one HP (34000 I think) and one Dell (38K) last month for office and they have awful build quality not to mention below par performance.
I have a 2009 Lenovo laptop in which I plonked a 128GB SSD in 2012 and its still working like a charm. I don’t game. It’s fast and runs Windows 10 and Office like a champ plus movies and music too.
OP don’t let this sentimental, nationalistic views get in your way of choosing what’s best for your money. No matter what brand you buy, almost 80% of the components are still made in China so you’ll be still be giving out your money to the Chinese.
Also don’t buy a laptop without an SSD.
Good luck with the purchase.
Some probing questions to help further. Kindly excuse the ignorance and skip if these are very basic things one should know by default:
1. From the thread looks like we should always purchase default OS installed on SSD for better performance as that’s the drive where most of external applications are also installed? What if it’s a model with both SSD & HDD available as default. Where the OS generally resides? If we buy with only HDD and later add another SSD, possible to migrate OS and other apps to SSD? Or do we need to reinstall completely.
2. There are several types of RAM listed usually. Which is the best one?
3. Isn’t installing additional SSD/HDD and upgrading RAM yourself or via 3rd party service centers void warranty?
Any real life examples would be helpful.
1) Os is installed in SSD always. Yes you can migrate. You can even do fresh installation.

Check this, Ryzen 5 4500u against i7 10th gen (in Mi Notebook Horizon) and i5 8th gen (in the laptop you bought)

Laptop is beast with 10+ hrs of battery backup and very light and sturdy.
I have 2015 Macbook pro Retina with me and it make it run for its money
I wonder what research you did
You could have got Ryzen 5 4th gen in this price
Please anyone guide me really good laptop under 35 k for home basic use for teaching student online.
Any ASUS i3 or i5 with atleast 4GB ram will do… ASUS provides 2 years on-site warranty for most of their laptops which none of the other companies provide plus they have great build quality and one of the best after sales support…
Very good
No chinta
I actually want to ask something related to my laptop. I own Dell G3 and I used to notice that when I played game, the frame rate is actually okay-ish until I put on the charger which smoothen the frame rate. Any idea why is it like that?
Regarding Dell G3 specs, it is 8GB Ram/ intel i7 8th Gen/ NVIDIA GenForce 1050tix
Common for all laptop brother. They work well when it’s plugged.
Any recommendations for <30k w/o peripherals? I’m considering NUC8i3

prefer crucial & kingston ssd/NVMe over WD unless it is WD Blue SN550 or WD Black(much costlier though).
You guys can get better desktop if budget is restrictive. Desktop processor often gives faster response due to tdp. So instead of buying overpriced Chinese laptop, you may upgrade/buy a desktop instead.
Also productivity and posture are better with desktop. Due to tdp a Pentium(KB and later) desktop will be almost equal to a laptop i3 or outshine it.
True
Any Best laptop under 80k? should be 100% Made in India
Then you must wait 100 years.
whats the cheapest 15.6 inch laptop with i3 or ryzen 3, dont need ssd for now will add afterwards, 500 gb or 1 TB hard disk with 4 gb ram will do
Bad idea, without ssd any latest laptop with win 10 will run slower than your 4-5 years old laptop running win 7/8.1.
It’s almost all time not available or out of stock but if u have to buy it keep a eye on this u can get ryzen 5 @ 33k but twist is this 125gb ssd varent cost 33k and 256 gb varient cost 42k
Someone suggest best laptop under 30k
I visited Croma, reliance digital and enquired they said all laptops under 30k are out of stock! My mom badly requires it for online classes from 1st of September!
The minimum price was 35k,
Therefore we have decided now to purchase second hand laptop, which costs around 20k
Any suggestions regarding this matter?
Do not buy 2nd hand. Not worth the potential hassle. You could miss out on the default warranty altogether. Warranty extension is also doubtful.
Try Ej555t Asus laptop from reliance digital and get 2000 cash back +2500cashback in credit card emi from hdfc bank
How can it be both 2000 and 2500 cashback. I believe only one cashback we can get right?
Go for HP
I suggest go for brands like HP, Dell, Acer…
All other brands are not good in terms of reliability. Avita being the worst.
