Nothing like that.Doctors had prescribed 'lifelong' daily use of metformin hydrochloride.. to a cousin.
But all her motivation remained till she could finally have a baby.
(Two miscarriages. First due to the pathetic NHS hospitals/ medicare in England).
Somehow her third pregnancy carried till full term and an year or two after having the baby.. she was like.. now even if i die.. I do not care.
Better to go with the advice of sensible, qualified, experienced medical caregivers.
Finer points of each case vary enough for some line of treatment to suit better for one than the other.
Each physiology is different too and changes from time to time or based on treatment or other conditions.
To cure pcod, get into ayurvedic treatment. It’ll be a slow process (6-8) months but it’ll cure her 100% I bet.
The best medicine for PCOD is Keto diet. As @Faug, there is no medicine for PCOD in allopathy. Search internet to know more about side effects.
First get the knowledge of keto diet and you will get confidence.
Take care of food what,when...
Exercise a little bit , be in nature ...
There is no permanent treatment allopathy or aurvada or natropath or any thing.
You can just try to control it by taking medicine, exercise/yoga, diete control and less mental stress. If all this things are done regurly it will be in control till all the above is followed. But after 6 months or a year person gets lazy and slowly issues start again.
Follow what your doctor says and dont waste money on any expensive treatments be it natropathy or anything else. They charge a bomb but PCOD cannot be cured.
This is the kind of information that you want to keep private with a doctor and definitely not the kind of advice to get from a public forum. Just my opinion
