Take a look at what doctors are wearing in a hospital and buy those. For adequate protection, you’ll need to wear 2 layers, 1 N95 + a surgical mask inside it.
Venus makes CDC-certified masks in India. Many counterfeit ones are sold on Amazon, so be careful.
One needs this kind of protection only in a closed environment with air conditioning/proximity to high-risk people. Wearing an N95 mask when outdoors is unnecessary.
Good Luck.

N95 is not available for rs.20… they are just surgical masks and it will not protect you from covid.

I am not sure if its 100% correct i read somewhere that the size of the virus is 1.25micron and these masks are made to protect u from anything more than 3 microns.

So using a single mask wouldn’t help if the source of virus is close enough or if it is air borne amd you’re in close environment, however 95 or surgical mask should be sufficient for regular use if u can maintain distance from others.

Correct me if i am wrong

3M or Venus masks (N95/FFP2/FFP3)
But they’re not available online right now.. try offline, they should cost you around 100rs (Revised MRP)

If possible avoid these N95 masks from random brands (you can get a pack of 5/10 N95 masks from Amazon via Cloudtail too).
The BIS/ISO certification is a joke.. every tdh company got certified because there was a desperate need to increase the mask production last year
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/bis-r...

Not sure about the quality but Amazon (via Solimo Brand) is also selling these one-time N95 masks (Sourced from a local manufacturer)
https://www.amazon.in/Amazon-Brand-Solimo-Face-...

But whatever these masks are.. they seem to work better than the 2-ply/3-ply surgical masks
Whenever i need an N95 on an urgent basis, i get this 50rs generic mask (n95) from nearby medplus store
https://www.medplusmart.com/product/N95-FACE-MA...

PS: Refer those Amazon N95 masks listings where brands flaunt their BIS/ISO certificates and the user-reviews

Check this Savlon FFP2 Mask for 89/-
Grofers (Bengaluru) has it instock.. while it is OOS elsewhere (Amazon, Flipkart, Bigbasket)
Think ..it should be easy to get these via local stores too

Edit: ITC Store has it instock
