Could you help with the minimum recharge amount to keep jio number alive?
I think cheapest annual cost in Jio (for smartphones) is for 1500... around 125 per month.
For JioPhone, it is 895/855 annually... around 75 per month.
BSNL 201 plan. You will get 90 days validity . Then an additional 7 days where you can get ONLY incoming. And on the 8th day you will fall into grace period 2 (GP II), then you can again repeat the recharge . Effectively you are getting 97 days for rs 201
PS : 201 is only applicable only if you are in GP II , so its important to recharge only when your sim enter GP II period
I am using BSNL - 141Rs (Mahakrishi Plan - MKSNEW) Which Gives 1.5GB/Day+200SMS+Unlimited Calling for 30 Days (Calendar Month) and its a Pre-Paid Plan.
Those, Who have Agricultural Land can easily get this Plan from Nearest BSNL Office.
From Last 10 Years , The Plan was never Changed Only 1 time Last Changed on 2016 (108Rs (2012) to 141Rs (2016).
In, Maharashtra especially Non-Metro BSNL has a 4G Including My Town from last 5 years. So, It is only beneficial if you check the availability and feasibility in your location.
I knew about it.
But in jio's 5g era, whsts the need of it?
1.5 gb daily in 141 isn't so much attractive in 3g network like bsnl
MTNL has a 245 rupee plan for 365 days validity.
In Delhi at-least they also have the 1097 rupee plan which has outgoing calling and some data benefits too.
Port to Jio and recharge once every 84/90 days (plus make OG calls/send SMS) to be on the safe side if the number if of any importance to you. IC Calls and SMS never stop even after recharge expiry.
