This 👆🏼 is 100% true. Family member has an HDFC cobranded credit card at least since 5 years with constant use. The credit limit after repeated upgrades is now Rs 11 lakhs. Yet when an attempt is made to apply for an core HDFC credit card it simply says "You already have our best possible card." Twice we did try to apply for a core HDFC credit card through a different way and it was rejected both times.

If u are an existing hdfc customer then it wont ask for kyc, so u have to select tata employee (doesn't matter u are tata employee or not) and it will be ltf for u.
Note - only for existing hdfc customers.
Coz kyc hua toh reject ho jayega.

If u need to know how to get additional 750₹ , u can ping me.

@abhishek012

Hi from what I read I think it is better to get hdfc core card first in case you want to have in future because getting one later after having cobranded card is comparatively difficult

Hi, I'm not getting any card as LTF from hdfc as of now. Which other card would you suggest?

Was looking forward to get millenia but not eligible. I just want a card that can be used in sale discounts.
