What's the best way now to pay insurance bills after Amazon Gift Card method devaluation on HDFC Gyftr, not to mention various devaluations on CCs?

It seems like the maximum cashback may be just 1% (Amazon Pay ICICI) + 1% (HDFC DB method).

@abhishek012 and others - please help.

Credit Card Rewards: While credit card cashback options may have been devalued, some credit cards still offer rewards and cashback on specific categories, including bill payments. Research the rewards structure of your credit cards and see if any of them provide higher cashback for insurance payments.

Payment Wallets: Explore payment wallets like Paytm, PhonePe, or Google Pay. They often have occasional cashback offers on bill payments, which could help you save on insurance payments.

@abhishek012 Thanks. Unfortunately, I don't have either SBI Cashback or Millenia. Any other option - Ace, APay ICICI, Tata Neu?

That 6% can be misleading. It's for hotel, flight redemptions right? Conversion to money is very less % and adding smartbuy convenience charges it doesn't make sweet deal overall.

Yup, considering Hotel and Flight redemptions only. I guess that's the whole purpose of the premium cards like DCB, Infinia, etc. So it's not misleading actually. 6% is after the deduction of those charges only. 😄
BTW, he has Amazon ICICI and DCB, 2 Cards only 😉 So, it's VFM for him.

@srp321 I think the only way for you is 1% cashback on Apay ICICI, and then additional 1% when you pay the bill through HDFC Easyshop Debit Card (monthly eligible transaction amount would be Rs. 75,000 across all such card payments)

Freecharge Axis CC at present provides 5% Cashback. But Charges 1.18%. So After Deduction of Charges It comes to 3.82%. Not bad.

Tata Neu, I still have Confusion.

I am having Tata Neu Infinity Card and I am Infinity member also.

Last month I paid 5000+ LIC Premium.

In Base Cashback I got 1.5%.

In Bonus I had other Transactions like Utilities also. I didn't understand I received 5% cashback for which of the transactions.
