does anyne tried investing in nps tore 2 using hsbc cash credit card and got 1.5% cash back? just wanted to know do we get cash back for such govt transactions

My PRAN had been generated on 27th Dec but the account is still frozen. Any idea how much time it will be take before I can make subsequent contirbutions?

there are app which allows transfer of credit card to bank with charge 2.5 to 3.5%

Finally, account is activated and I did some txns to test it out.

I did Rs.10 withdrawal 2 days back and it shows completed but money is not credited to account yet.

@rogerthat need help regarding withdrawal process for NPS tier 2 :

1. Is there a minimum amount for withdrawal and if there are any charges. I am wondering if those 10 that I withdrew were gobbled up be charges itself.
2. turn around time after status reflects complete.

Best way is to wait for right oppurtunity to come and grab it cc to bank free plus with some commission also

New acc is frozen status.. how much time it took for others who got activated now? Is there chance kyc can be failed? As i have already kyc enable acc in hdfc bank.. and i chose them for pop..

I tried to sign up, and it went smoothly till the esign process, which was not successful. I understand that I have to print, sign and send the documents to the mumbai address. So, until then, I will not be able to invest in NPS tier 2. Am I right?

I’m just curious to know how long it would take for them to process my documents and let me invest in the nps tier 2 account.

Contribution otp issue. Anyone facing issue in adding money?

I filled in all details and paid initial contibution on 22nd February through Online Banking for both Tier 1 and Tier 2. But when I retrieve my application using my acknowledgment ID it takes me to the payment page again.

Is that normal? If it’s normal, how long before I get PRAN number alloted? And will I get intimation through email?
If it’s not normal, any ideas how I can seek help on this?

Hmmm, does NPS lock in makes sense to you guys ?
The minimum contribution needed ever year for tier 1 + tier 2 is INR 1500 per year.
If banks see lots of NPS transactions and classify them as a utility / services sometime this year, they will no longer give any reward points for it, but you’ll be stuck paying 1500 for the next 30 – 45 years.

I know its slightly more expensive but, why not use something like Pay Matrix, that you can discontinue whenever you want ?

If we register for NPS tier 1 & tier 2 account from Karvy. Can’t we login into enps site?. If not which one is the best one for registration @rogerthat @dev007
