Min charges you will have to pay. Zero forex cards are the best bet (POS payment). However in Thailand 70-80% places charge additional 3-4% for card payments. I had used Orient exchange for INR to USD and then converted USD to THB in thailand. Also keep minimum 1000 THB for local expenses to get out of airport. And then once you are in city you can convert USD to THB.
