Slightly over your budget but during sale you can get TP-Link Archer C6 or A6 for around 2K

I’m using Tenda F6. Basically the WiFi was setup in the back room where I’ll sit, but we all use the same in the front rooms. It has the hindrance of 1 concrete wall and glass windows of 2, still the coverage is good and speed too is decent.

Just to add Archer A6 / C6 is dual band and with Gigabit ports. So future proof even if you go for high speed plans.

C6 is a bit better because C series usually gets more updates I think compared to A series.

Guys is this Router good? Have lots of good reviews.
TP-Link Archer C20

It is alright but like others said I also suggest to go for Archer C6 as it is definitely better than C20 & not much point in saving 800 when the device is going to be used for 2-3 years at least.

Guys my local cable operator asking ₹3600 for installation with 1st month recharge. Can I bargain to reduce this cost?
And should I order the Wi-Fi router befor broadband installation so that the broadband guy can setup everything.

Buy either one of them, no clear details of differences is available anywhere.

But it is said in few forums that:

A is Amazon/Online version and
C is regular offline store version

Is this optical fiber setup because in usual times cable broadband providers using lan cable don’t ask for this much as installation fee?

Actually there isn’t much to setup except in case of optical fiber connection, just a 5 min task which I can tell you here too. Still it is better to have the wifi router beforehand as that will save some time for mac cloning procedure if your cable isp uses mac address binding but if it is username/password based pppoe connection then it is even easier so no need to get router beforehand.

Then you need to tell them that you want to use your own wifi router so setup the connection/their GPON router in bridge mode so that you can connect your own wifi router to it.

Today optical fibre cable laid out to my house installation will be done tomorrow. They are charging ₹4200 only for installation without any recharge. I tried a lot to bargain but they said if you want then pay full price otherwise don’t get broadband. My local cable operator is very bad. because of monopoly they treat their customers like slave.

Lol! No, never truly unlimited with same speed! There is a capping, may for 300GB or 400GB. Check the same with ur operator.

That depends on place bro! 60Mbps connection means they are setting up fiber connection for him. Unlike cities, all places doesn’t have local point to setup that connection. For us too it’s 3600/-, just for installation. Local ISP always monopolise things joy

Read the website thoroughly no mention of data transfer capping anywhere.
