One news portal had mentioned it's already been made to work on Pixels which is no surprise as Google is far and away the most developer-friendly. It will be a surprise if these devs contribute anything at all to AOSP code. If its the Tensor based Pixels that would be a small achievement as ever since GKI, custom ROM development as a whole has seemingly stalled for newer devices incorporating GKI. Ironic since GKI should have greatly eased custom ROM development! At least one can now compile GKI as a monolithic image which is a big help. Not sure if BharOS is based off of Lineage or simply AOSP though the simplicity of the UI suggests the latter. 

Maybe the likes of Lava, Micromax would launch a few devices with this installed.

Par sikhayega kaise ? kyunki sab ka intellectual property rights hota hai. isiliye yeh sab Android Fork banaye jate hai.

Jaise ki bahot logo k ques hote hai ki hum India me apna processor kyun nahi banate hai ? phir processor ka architecture kyun nahi banate hai ?

Iska sachai yeh hai ki kisi IIT ya unke Professor ko nahi pata processor ya architecture kaise banate hai.

Intel, ARM sab ka khud ka apna intellectual property rights hai. Jo openly nahi milte hai.

Isiliye RISC-V architecture ka use kar k IIT me sikhate hai but uska use koi nahi karta.

Same another example lete hai Super Computer ka.

Ab kisi IIT k pas Crore o rupees nahi hai ki Super Computer bana k dekhaye.

toh IIT k Professors kya karte hai ?

Raspberry pi kharid te hai bahot saare and uske aise jod k bana dete hai (pic dekho) -

Ab tum isko dekh k mazak udaoge ki yeh koi Super Computer hua ? isko kon use karega ?

Par sach yeh ha ki yeh ek project hai jo IIT k Students, Professor bana k dekhate hai.

Phir next year dusre batches k students koi aur Fork Android bana kar present karega.

US airforce toh PlayStation 3 se hi super computer bana dala. Consumer computer aur research oriented computers me bahut fark hota hai.

These subsidy devices are the only hope for this OS. For commercial launches, Google playstore is basic necessity or atleast an open source alternative to Google Play services (Like MicroG by German government) for apps to properly work (dependant on Google APIs like WhatsApp)
And yeah, unless they give these for free.. I'm never going to use (via secondary sim and worthless data on it) any device controlled by someone else (via admin access)

Good observation bro, if i am critical towards the government then it is everyone's right in a democratic country. Pinpointing like this doesn't make sense until and unless you want to have a debate on facts. If you get time then please find out how much did the government spend on the development of this so called os.
