Amazon Pantry is back for major groceries. And for the daily needs, now Swiggy or Zomato is better.

Govt wants us to stay home. Most local grocery shops refuse home delivery. How do you reconcile both? Local grocery shops can not claim business to be their birthright if they refuse to move with times.
Some of the local grocery shops have tied up with Swiggy and Zomato for online order/payment and home delivery.

Grocery stores are open for a reason. Masks and social distancing should be enough. Local economy should not be allowed to crumble just like that bhai. Swiggy Zomato is still fine by me as local business will get business. Amazon Grocery is a big no. 🙂🙂🙂 Please don’t think that I am being rude or trying to disrespect you in anyway.

I prefer Swiggy/Zomato groceries as they deliver within an hour. However, all items are not readily available with local shops registered with them. Further, for certain items the local shops have increased the prices by 20%-25%, same applies to Grofers also. 5-10% is fine but 20-25% is too much. In such cases Amazon pantry is the only option.
We need to take care of the economy of the country, but our own economic condition also needs to be taken care of.

Dunzo is much better for quick delivery, their prices are better than swiggy/zomato and payment offers are also pretty nice.

Actually this is golden period for grocery stores. They are making profits like anything. Most of businesses are affected very badly but pharma and grocery stores have profited from this pandemic a lot.

I just responded to your reaction. You are advocating the use of local shops but getting excited at the news of Big Basket giving offers. Somehow the two reactions are not exactly compatible.

Alright. I did that because I didn’t want to pick a stupid fight. I am still advocating shopping from local store. People here are matured enough to know what’s right and what’s wrong. Can’t babysit and teach all of em. For the sake of friendship, I am ready to put a blind eye to one mistake by s friend. I hope you understand. I am honestly tired of doing these things you know. It’s not worth it. Peace out man. Chill. I am chilled from my end.

I am not sure what is better. Personally, bigbasket and grofers are not giving any slots. Swiggy doesn’t have products that I need. I have been ordering only through Amazon, or going to local stores. I haven’t been to big Bazar during this time, it’s a bit farther than other stores, and I don’t want police to question unnecessarily. But heard people saying, they got most products available. Big bazaar never had home delivery before this, as far as I know. And they had to tie up with amazon earlier this year to get that done. They finally chose to do it themselves, which is appreciable. They’lealise soon that people want discounts, and they will too make changes, hopefully.

Buy via Swiggy/Grofers. You end up supporting both the local stores and the delivery boys’ families.

Yes, but i really don’t want to give money to the middle man. I want this system to be decentralised.
