Last Sunday my 2014 model Super splendor got theft . Need to buy one urgently.

1. 125cc
2. Thinking to buy super splendor again, 81k onroad price. Have shine and glamour (82k) in mind.
3. I believe that Hero bikes pays over the time.
4. Recently drove 2 year old shine , ride was smoother and comfortable than my super splendor. But shine had much vibration @ higher speed.
5. Now I understood Comfortable shockers pays well in long rides.
6. Need to travel 65 km everyday in this lockdown , usual travel 25km everyday.
7. Never ride more than 50km, but got skid few times in last 6 years. If front disk brakes makes ride safer, than would like them

8. Looks, don’t give a damn.

Suggestion please, as need to buy urgently

As you drove 2 year old honda shine, you won’t get the feel of the FI (Fuel Injection) system which are installed on the new bikes. So, it’s better that you get a test ride of BS6 variant bikes and then decide.

Don’t go for honda shine…
i have one..bought last year..
using it daily to travel around 25-30 KM.
All the parts have started giving vibrations..
Shockers are going to be bad too soon..

Did u have insurance, if u had u can claim for theft. If u feel splendour is more comfortable go for if but u can buy 2nd hand 1 or 2year old at half of the price.

1) common bikes get stolen but odd bikes don’t.
so if Bajaj is not common in your city get one instead of hero.
2) get odd colour. Even the new tvs Radeon white colour is easy to spot.
3) if it’s the regular place you park from where it got stolen. The chance odlfca repeat are higher.
4) get one with front dick brakes.

I don’t agree with point one, coz thieves don’t go for brands they look for vulnerable items..even a scrapped cycle could be stolen.

Point 4 wink hope OP doesn’t need one and he could control without the need for brakes ghost BTW are there people with rear accessory as well joy joy

I would suggest go for Hero motorcycles only as they are much reliable than any other bikes and you can get their parts everywhere.

Get a ebike … Not much reviews yet as they are new entrants. But will save in fuel cost

Blame it on android.

Replaced word disk with disc and it renamed it to dick. 😂

Dismantling a GPS is just pulling a wire from the battery so OP no luck with that.

Look at news about stolen bikes and cars recovered. They are always common bikes with common colours. Where the stolen bike when resold blends in with the crowd.

  • Red pulsars never get stopped at nakabandi except if the rider looks suspicious.
  • Black bikes being stopped is the most common.
  • HH splendor are stopped often (may be they are produced more)

Don’t buy a disc lock for front disc brake rather get a biggest regular padlock which can fit through disc hole. That’s a tip given to me by a police officer once for bikes parked outside the house at night.

Best in the segment and has the most refined engine amongst all, 45kmpl in city roads and 55kmpl+ on highways.
