You Said - "I have Bob cc due of 50 paise I ignored payed after 10 days now in cbil report showing as late payment.

Why did you Ignore it? Did you have short of that much amount?

Never Play with this Stuff to any Corporate Stuff/Banks for that matter.

Make sure to pay your dues in full, and if it's in "Points", round it up by adding an extra Rs 1. Simply complaining to the Nodal/Principal Nodal Officer or the RBI Banking Ombudsman will not guarantee a favorable decision. Banks and the RBI tend to side with banks most of the time, and if banks make intentional mistakes, they will eventually be penalized, and you will win. In your case, it's clear that you neglected to pay the full amount due, and BANK OF BARODA and CIBIL are not accountable for such matters. Banks aim to make a profit, and they may take advantage of situations like when you forget to pay on time, and pay only the minimum amount due. This is not illegal, and it's one of the reasons they offer LTF without any charges. Going forward, be sure to pay your dues in full, as the algorithm used by banks to report to CIBIL only considers a zero balance as a missed payment, and computers do not understand the value of Points in Rupees.

Asking because I'm planning to add both in my CCs - SBI cashback cc & Axis Ace.

And here I thought sbi card & axis were the worst banks when it comes to credit cards. I similarly paid a total due of Rs.2 on sbi cc one week after due date but nothing happened. Check in your card statement if the min due amt is zero or not(if not then immediately close all BoB cc) & if zero then immediately lodge a complaint & escalate to nodal officer saying when min due amt is zero then bank can't report late payment to credit bureau & ask them to report to cibil their mistake. If they don't agree then file a complaint in rbi ombudsman attaching screenshots of card statement showing zero min due amt as well as cibil report.

Immediately close such bank's all cc that even put a 50 paisa amt as min due & complain to rbi ombudsman anyway after raising this issue to BoB nodal officer.

Also see this news(I think that's why they put the amt as 50 paisa as less than that would have been clear violation of even High court's judgement).

@MrKool_JJ @bikidas2060 That's why I never fell for this LTF BoB card trap because above example shows either BoB cc staff is completely clueless with everything handled by some automated system that too poorly designed or their staff is such a miser that not even willing to leave even 50 paisa so you can guess what will happen in case of any genuine mistake in payment or some fraud case.

Well we are supposed to pay ₹1 extra in such cases but you are right. That doesn't change the fact that SBI and Axis are two of the absolute worst banks in India when it comes to credit cards. By worst, I mean how how they treat customers, not the cards themselves as a product. Many of Axis credit cards are pretty good, and SBI Cashback card is good but their customer care fails to understand and solve basic queries, lies a lot or is misinformed about many things, violates rules a lot and tortures customer. Axis is terrible even for banking with all sorts of extra, hidden, unnecessary "consolidated charges".

The worst customer care though is SBI cards. They are just like animals.

SBI card put min due amt as zero for any single digit figure total due amt(I am guessing it may even be any amt less than 100) & when min due amt is zero then late payment is not applicable so it doesn't matter when you pay until the next statement generates with min due amt being a non zero figure. That is why what BoB did in this case, aka putting min due amt figure as non zero/50 paisa, is unacceptable.

Make sure to complain first to BoB customer care & immediately escalate to nodal officer after getting a reply so that you can quote the complaint reference number/interaction screenshot while complaining to rbi ombudsman.

This is really paramount nonsensical stuff... either round up or down, at least that's what works in the financial industry... pathetic systems and overly pathetic policy makers/admin staff of these particular organizations who consider fractional amount as due and mark that in credit report!

Also customers, make a habit of rounding up yourself and pay that, as nobody knows when you'd be hit by a bug like this which might never be closed by the staff of these organizations... @guest_999 @shraaj

They will be utterly clueless and refer to CC or email, so save your energy and money by not visiting branch... Bob bank and bob financial is different entity... Maybe registering complaint, waiting 30 days then RBI ombudsman approach is a better way if not solved.

@guest_999

Point here is not paying the due amt but whether it is even required to put a min due amt of 50 paisa shamelessly. I had a total due amt of Rs.2 & I completely forgot about it because min due amt was zero so sbi card didn't even send any reminders on last day or next day of the due date as usual because even they knew that in such case sending reminders is pointless. I paid this Rs.2 total due a week after due date & nothing happened because min due amt in statement for that month was zero meaning if min due amt is zero then late payment doesn't apply at all which is also logical because it is not like having a due amt of Rs.2 or 50 paisa not being paid means anything about person's financial capability which is the whole point in credit card/loan business. BoB acted wost than sbi card in this case & that itself is a distinction no credit card in India should have.

that context was for SBI, BoB is clueless usually I am afraid someone may hack BoB and use our cards, once even after disabling all domestic I could use card😳

I never trusted BoB ever since I read a fraud case done on their debit card few years ago where a cloned debit card physically present in India was used overseas at the rate of 1 txn every 2-3 seconds & still that bank's system didn't raise an alarm until entire 3-4 lakhs emptied out of the bank acc. A few months later there was another case where 2 Nigerian women hacked BoB atm in some Indian city using a device to withdraw cash. I simply cannot trust such a bank's automated system & I was proved right again when their stupid system actually put a 50 paisa figure as min due amt when it should have ignored it(sbi card system did exactly that in my case for Rs.2 total due & I consider their system probably the worst among all major credit cards).

I used to do that but SBI reopened (in CIBIL)my closed card (closed in 2016) adjusted  minus .91 to  minus 1.00 and is now continuing payment history (into March 2023) 😌

I always pay more than payment due in such a situation.

If we ignore we will have to waste our time for 0.50 paise and 1 rupee.
