BoB Prime credit card pros and cons

I think to increase customer base by following competition, BOB also joined this LTF band. But, recently they have reduced important benefits on these LTF cards. Just go through the link if you want some idea…

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.moneycontrol.c...

They have no stand alone app, their app will redirect you to browser version of their site.

Their service is definately not up to the mark. Even though most of the times they will clear tickets in a reasonable time but if they don’t know the solution or if they don’t want to reply then they will simply close ticket without resolving the issue and you can’t even find what is the resolution they mentioned in ticket. They have 3levels of email escalations and also a final one, you can also raise a ticket via their website.

This is the only bank which asks 1 month to 2 months time for both issuing and cancelling a card which is ridiculous.

Recently, for my Prime card (issued against Deposit) they mentioned my entire spends in a month should not cross my limit then I asked where it mentioned in your terms but there is no answer.

Reasons why I am still continuing is it’s LTF and also it is providing flat 4 points (1rs) per 100rs on every spent except fuel. So I am paying rent 15000rs using CRED at almost 0 cost and getting 150rs per month which is worth and also very simple.

Their redemption process is straight forward and all you need to do is raise a request once your points reached 500, in 2 days equivalent amount will be added to your credit card.

Overall, if you have no issues in keeping deposit you can try this and you will get upto 80% of the deposit amount as limit for your credit card. I can give a score of 55/100 for this card till CRED offer is live but as per other posts better go with Premier card (Rupay JCB version) to extract most of the benefits. You can’t avail more than one card in BOB.
