BOB Select Visa Card Reward Rates?

Guys , Can you please clarify this?Image Link

Zomato Transaction on BOB Select Card Gave me 1x Reward Points but in there Website

  • 5X i.e. 5 Reward Points* for every Rs. 100 spent on Dining and Online spends
  • 1 Reward Point for every Rs. 100 spent on other categories.

I think Zomato comes in Online Category or even in Dining Category then it has to give 5x Reward but its giving only 1x!

Please Point your Opinion, Thanks in advance!

I think some technical issue, zomato txn wrongly considered as wallet maybe(the one used in paytm wallet add money by cc loophole).

But, I have done Genuine Transactions directly on Zomato , I didn't use Zomato with Paytm or Vice Versa!

There, Customer Support is "Illiterate People" who cant even read My Proper E-mail!

No bank customer support give specific reason for credit card application rejection in one go especially axis & sbi. HDFC though started a new trend recently it seems by mentioning a paragraph of multiple factors(income, pincode, location, profession etc etc) followed by a line below which says something like "your application did not meet the above hence rejected". smile

Have U Checked These Reward Points MITC  Click Here , They Mentioned 5x Rewards Will Be Given If Merchant Sends Back Flags/Identifier Like MCC Codes Category (Ex ::  Sms Delivery Report) Then 5x Reward Points Else 1x Reward Point).

System Don't Care If U Paid Via OTP Or Physical Swipe... All It Needs Is If Merchant Send Back Payment Report With identifier That Listed In Their MCC Code.

Online:: Online transaction flag provided by Merchant Acquirer

First Time Seeing This Extra Conditions 🤦

Otherwise this card is of No use for me!

I already have Amazon,Axis Flipkart and HDFC Millenia these cards give 1-1.5% Cashback on any other transaction.

No Wonder,WHY BOB is Pathetic!.

Even,they reduced there Reward Rate from 0.25₹ to 0.20₹. (Effect of LTF CREDIT CARD TO MASS PEOPLE)

So why did you use BoB card in the first place for zomato txn as you could get 1.5% on fk axis card anyway which is still more than B0B 1% on 5x.

Just to use the BOB Card! 
Because even after holding it for 7 months, I still had no clue why it is beneficial for me?

Anyways, My Primary Cards is Axis Flipkart!


From Now on, I Will not be using BOB Card and also I have SBI Simplyclick and SBI Max Card Which is of no use to me , thinking to close it in 11 months

Worst card is yes bank then bob now fk axis too.. utility payments are excluded
