this applies for any site which lets you pay via Bharat QR when you select upi for example gas booking can be done with Bharat QR under upi option but they charge you extra around 15 rs i think in some case like adani electricity pre payment also there is option of Bharat QR there it does not charge you anything

Yes, Bharat QR is a merger of all QR payment - Cards like "Visa/master/RuPay/Amex and UPI"
All payment mode included in a single QR but they all operate in a separate payment rail.

I added my BoB visa card in Google pay more than a year ago
What's new in this? Totally misleading post!
If your phone doesn't have NFC, it won't work. Whereas UPI CC works regardless of it
before upi era, there was mvisa and masterpass qr payment systems, where the merchants doent need to own the machine, but rather display a qr where the customers can pay with mvisa and masterpass app which had their card linked. then came bharat qr that integrates these two qr systems and rupays own qr system, and also third party apps like gpay also supported scanning these codes.
