Use your credit card reward points for redemption. Depedning on the card type you have, a 36K per night hotel efectively costs you around 10K out of pocket expense.

Paying through points does not mean getting a discount.
That too, is only available to those having DCB/infinia cards.

Reward point redemption of some credit cards like Infinia and DCB from Hdfc bank, few from American Express and also from Axis/IndusInd have 1 reward point equivalent to 1 rupee when redeemed against hotel and flight booking.

Not in literal sense, but sure does save out of pocket expense. Other credit card options also given.

Other than that he needs to find a corporate with a tie up with one or two chains. OR tkae some hotel membership though that'd mean inital upfront payment for discounts.

Not only hotel bookings, the magic of reward points (or miles in this case) can give you free upgrade from Economy to Business in long haul international flights.

According to my calculations, spends of approximately 370K over 3 years (10.5k per month) would still give you 66k reward points on a paid Infinia/DCB.
