Bookmyshow donation (bookasmile)
Hi Dimers,
Yesterday I donated few amount on BMS and asked for receipt to claim tax exemption but they gave this reply:

I believe we can fill the details only with PAN.
How do I go ahead claiming exemption?

You can’t, 80G only applies to donations made via cheque, draft or cash.

Oh….That’s not good.
But anyways, will continue to donate free BMS vouchers of IDFC as not gonna use it atleast till vaccine shot.
