Boycott airtel price hike.. Trick for incoming Validity required

Hi All, With the recent price hike in airtel plans the min recharge plan is changed to 155 but that is for 24 days only. Taking Validity into account 99 plan is now changed to 179, which makes it now difficult to use airtel as a incoming sim. Any tricks anyone has to keep the incoming Validity, plz pm
Also share which company is now offering cheapest incoming plan. So we all can boycott airtel and port out.
Thanks

What’s the big problem? People happily pay 150 to 250 for a single meal per person but cry about paying 200 for a full month of telephone service. Doesn’t your fuel price go up every so often? So does electricity, restaurants, train fares, doctor fees etc. Consulting a doctor at a decent hospital used to cost around 400 a decade back. It went up to 600, then 800, 1000 and is now 1200 to 1500 depending upon the hospital.  Why always cry about telecom? Prices for almost everything have increased dramatically in the past couple of years.

Obviously you need to pay to have service. Same applies to electricity or broadband or Netflix.
Senseless remarks aplenty. People who are complaining about the price hike are not the heavy users — those who use UL/daily data and all — but basic users who simply need to make (limited) and receive calls/SMS, like senior citizens. Why would they need to pay 155 rs. minimum for such a basic thing? It's an absurd amount to ask merely for the sustenance of a connection. In 2019 it was 35, the minimum recharge. It has increased more than 300% since. Nothing has increased to that extent. Barring of OG SMS is also another malpractice telcos indulged themselves in.

I think they want everyone to use only one sim for everything hence raising recharge prices so that it's difficult to maintain multiple sims

If they starts to increase tariff at such a rate then soon there will be only 1 sim card for entire family.

Industry followed jio to stay in the market and now they are following airtel to get more profits and jio is just moving a step back to be a good boy in front of users

But he said "We need an ARPU of Rs 300 a month which is still, by far, the cheapest given that users are consuming 60 gigabytes (GB) of data a month", so charge those who spending so much data not the basics call users 🤔

Yes, I'm also have the same opinion but the problem here is Airtel increasing costs without improving network coverage last auction they didn't buy sub ghz 5g spectrum for indoor coverage, give users 5g nsa with few cities covered while the competitor jio bought n28 band and deployed superior low Latency 5g sa. Airtel got record profits from last hike still can't provide decent services my primary sim is airtel I will be happy to pay more if they provide decent 5g coverage better than jio.

Valid point but this 155/179 is to be paid even when you are not using the phone at all or very less. Even after having main balance in hundreds just for getting an sms or a call we need to pay this.

You are not considering poor people who earn 300-400 daily, for them 10-20rs increment is also a big issue

Once the validity ends, don't recharge for a week, then the BSNL number will become GP2 and then recharge for GP2 plans which is VFM. @shraaj @SandipxDip

It's very useful.

For example:
Outgoing expired on: 1st Jan
Incoming will expire on: 8th Jan

From next day it is: Grace period 2 (GP2)

So rc on that day. Incoming will never stop.
