Hi,Today I just Casually Checked and Send the SMS of Porting After Reading so Many Discussion On DD,that they can’t send SMS Of Porting
I tried with airtel (698₹- 2GB/Day Pack-84 Days ) Old Plan
I tried with BSNL (107₹ – No SMS in this Plan only 3GB data and 100 Min Calling) was having 70₹ TT (Debited 1.20₹) for Porting!
So,Yes Conclusion is You can SEND SMS atleast in BSNL because BSNL on website clearly says plan above 147 will only will be used for Porting and all.
Look at there SMS🤣, instantly received an SMS that we have this offer and that! 
Anyways I am never gonna leave BSNL

Yesterday enquired about it and agent told me for porting I will get 239 rs 28 day plan + prime member ship at no cost.
Why you paid for port in to jio?

I paid 240.. per sim.. that is for recharge 28 days was compulsory.. 155 155 i paid for airtel to send sms so i can port

So then the PV is being activated from the main balance.
You WOULD have an active plan voucher.
Depending on circle and the previously active PV, the system deducts similar amount if available, to activate the PV.
But officially the still say that minimum 147/148 plan is needed to send SMS.
