Hi,Today I just Casually Checked and Send the SMS of Porting After Reading so Many Discussion On DD,that they can’t send SMS Of Porting
I tried with airtel (698₹- 2GB/Day Pack-84 Days ) Old Plan
I tried with BSNL (107₹ – No SMS in this Plan only 3GB data and 100 Min Calling) was having 70₹ TT (Debited 1.20₹) for Porting!
So,Yes Conclusion is You can SEND SMS atleast in BSNL because BSNL on website clearly says plan above 147 will only will be used for Porting and all.
Look at there SMS🤣, instantly received an SMS that we have this offer and that! 
Anyways I am never gonna leave BSNL

I paid 155 155 in 2 acc.. to port out from airtel to jio.. paid 240 each for entry in jio

Usually port in to jio is free and some plan.
Yesterday enquired about it and agent told me for porting I will get 239 rs 28 day plan + prime member ship at no cost.

BSNL hasn’t blocked SMS to 1900 for all customers so if you are able to send doesn’t mean every other can. I have 8 out of 10 BSNL sim cards active on Rs.2 deductions. From older ones which are 5 I can send sms to 1900 from balance but other 2 are blocked. In one of that I recharged with 49 recently as there was 40 cashback code from freecharge and even after that it didn’t allowed.
Also some older plan customers getting incoming calls/sms like older times i.e even after expiry of GPII period. My two inactive sims still getting incoming call/sms whose GPII period ended in Sept.

Ok,Fine but Don’t Forget the TRAI rule that for porting it requires Active Plan and your some of the plans are already expired (2₹/Day Deduction) also 49₹ and 106₹ both Tried and Tested by me so it worked! Other than that,I don’t know

roaming sim? vi charges me 25 paisa on 1900 in roaming. 38p means sms is charged as national sms.
