BSNL-MTNL merger unlikely to happen, not feasible or beneficial, say government officials
As per a report, a Group of Ministers (GoM), has stated that the merger of BSNL and MTNL is not feasible or beneficial for any party. Earlier this week, a report had stated that the telcos will start giving their joint landline service in Delhi and Mumbai by March 1, 2021.

If this merger happens, then BSNL will bring its efficiency to MTNL.
MTNL is good ?
No experience (Not from Delhi or mumbai)
I wonder if they decide to sell it then who will buy these companies with old junk equipment’s and those babus.
Most of the time, most of their buildings are in prime locations. It will fetch a lot of money.
