BSNL Call center workers don’t know a thing. Did you confirm with their supervisor or technical member ? I don’t think it is true. At least PVs should be auto-deductible or it’ll lead to many problems. (busy executives hardly have time to track expiry and renew). As usual BSNL sites are never up to date so pointless to search there. Doesn’t any change come into effect by 10th of month?

I asked cc to activate but he said he was unable to activate but when i tried it manually plan got activated

LOL.fake news ..In morning itself i recharged for 7rs daily plan from balance .Not only that received msg from BSNL to activate any plan by dialing 444 plan amount#

In my Karnataka circle sim, im able to select to activate stv/tariff plan change with main balance. (Didn’t actually activate, but i cancelled on final activation screen- just checked after this post). As i told to you in other post, keeping main balance atleast equal to current active tariff plan, might result in auto activation on 1st day after current tariff plan expires. I think i had read about this in some news portal, & first-hand experienced it also.
even for me the 36 plan was showing in ussd but after confirming for activation i received this sms “tariff plan change unsuccessful”

But i think its a public sector undertaking (as of now) , they wont be doing anything like that, have many known people working there in bsnl, ultimate option would be a consumer case maybe (if its applicable)

I had to activate Rs18 combo pack – 1.8GB/day for 2 days to test the speed.It has become worst. BTW this plan was activated from main balance thru *444# menu

Just subscribed 1699 stv using balance
