Budget Neckband Suggestion

My old trusted Oppo M31 died today so I am looking for a replacement. I want them for watching movies, Listening to Youtube music while working on PC, Playing Games and taking occasional calls on Phone (My usage on phone is minimal for calls though I use it for watching small clips).

Budget around 2k but would like comfort to ears as my PC sessions can go for hours.

Watched a comparison video between Oneplus Z2, Bolt 333 ANC and Oppo M32 but the price range have changed when the video was originally posted.

Personally I don't like M32 design because you won't be able to use Left speaker in right ear as I use only single speaker while working and keep my other ear open also the fact when one of the speaker malfunction we can still use other speaker (My M31 left speaker was faulty for almost 5 months and I could use the other one because of my use case)

I don't mind spending more for a good product so please share your valuable thoughts.

OnePlus Z2 would be better for you considering all kinds of aspects such as Brand, Sound, Build Quality, and Price.

Alternatively, you can also look for Realme buds wireless 2 Neo/2S.

Suggestion - Dont go with Boat, Ptron, Boult or similar brands use only recognized premium brand

Personally using - Sony WI-XB400 (Best and Balanced) @kartikoli

How is Sony compared to Oppo M31 if you ever had a chance to test them in person. As I said comfort is important for me so I don't mind spending a little extra for a good product.

Feel for you bro...

Reviews say oneplus and realme ones do have good sound, but I don't prefer those highlighting red or yellow colored wires. Only full black works. So either op z2 or sony, both are bit higher on bass & little poor on treble & sound separation when u come from m31. Rest all good. To me, nothing has been as comfortable as M31. Don't know why oppo had to be so cruel.

It appears that the OP Z2 is a suitable and perhaps the only option for you. After trying the shuffled pair on both ears to give you the review, it seems to be more comfortable than the original pair lol

ps. it seems the best time to get the Z2, it rarely goes under discount round the year.

Great I'll keep an eye on OP Z2, What about TWS if any of them are comparable to M31 in this range.

I also own Oppo Enco Buds, which are earbuds. Oppo began as an audio company and later expanded into other businesses, but they still have research and development centres in Singapore and China. Their audio quality is now one step ahead in the mid-range budget category.

For those who have a deep love for music, Sony would be the most suitable option. Sony has a balanced sound signature with clear treble, bass, and minimal background noise from the instruments, which is lacking in many other audio brands like bOAT, Boult, Ptron, Mivi, and even OnePlus. However, Sony is lagging in the Indian market with poor launches of earphones and audio products. Their last wireless earbud was launched in 2020.

As a Sony user for the past 10 years, I can say that the WI-XB400 earphone is a great choice. Comfort is my priority, and Sony fulfils that while also providing excellent audio output.

I have both OnePlus Z2 and Oppo M32. Oneplus Z2 beats down M32 in every single aspect. Go for Z2 blindly

Thanks for the suggestions now I am considering between Oneplus Z2 VS Sony WI-XB400 the former is around 1.2k more than Z2 but I see a refurbished link on amazon for 1750 something for Sony, If I got for Sony can I consider the cheaper option of refurbished?

Yes, Its good but can't match Oppo M31 quality. I find the base on a higher side though no changes were made in setting and using it mostly with PC for youtube and movies. Overall satisfied with the product.
